<h1>Background and Career</h1>
Born on February 3, 1939, Angelito “Mang Lito” Garcia Antonio was raised in Malolos, Bulacan. Joining contests from a very young age, he earned prizes and awards. He graduated college at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in 1963 with a degree in Fine Arts, later becoming an esteemed member of its faculty, where he taught for decades. He is married to the artist Norma Belleza, a likewise alumnus of the institution. He has three children, Marcel, Emil, and Fatima, who all share his talent and passion for painting.

According to several published articles, Antonio spent most of his earlier life studying and mastering art at the University of Santo Tomas, with his artistic career spanning half a century. National Artist Vicente Manansala and Galo Ocampo were two of his well-known instructors who had heavily contributed to the accomplishment of his pursuits of the art by providing him with a scholarship and a teaching position when he was still a student, which he took the opportunity to accept after graduation (GMA News, 2014). Some of his colleagues were Ang Kiukok, Antonio Austria, Danilo Dalena, Mario Parial, Jaime de Guzman, and Norma Belleza (his wife). He has over 20 local and international awards credited to his name, including the Grand Prize (1964) and Third Prize (1963) in AAP's Annual Art Competition. He is one of the committed constituents of the Art Association of the Philippines and the Saturday Group of Artists (Lifestyle. INQ, 2014).

In 1977, Antonio held his first exhibition at the Luz Gallery in Pasig, showcasing his sets of paintings that featured his inclination toward monochromatic palettes (Lifestyle. INQ, 2014). He is a well-decorated artist with numerous exhibits hosted abroad, particularly in New York and Saigon. His style was hugely influenced by the notable Spanish sculptor and painter Pablo Picasso, who he adapted from his taste for bright colors to give emphasis on his figures. The themes his works often display are taken extensively from the folk genre. He is both a modernist and an expressionist. In addition to the mentioned titles, people regard him as a prime mover in action painting and the extension of cubism in Philippine Art. The Philippine province of Bulacan, Malolos, is a historical city. It is well renowned for its crucial vicinity in Philippine history. It is often called the "Cradle of the Philippine Republic" because of its connection to the primary Philippine Republic. Malolos, Bulacan, is wealthy in historical websites, establishments, and activities that showcase Philippine tradition and history. The traditional Filipino redecorating approach known as Singkaban entails expanding decorative and vibrant materials.

At some point in the Singkaban festival, people expect various gadgets, including arches, floats, and shows, beautifully adorned with nearby components like bamboo, rice stalks, coconut leaves, and other organic substances. Those decorations are to showcase Filipino creativity, artistry, and cultural enjoyment. Communities combine to produce colorful and exquisite displays through the Singkaban pageant, which regularly features traditional tunes, dances, and other cultural performances. The phrase "Singkaban" itself derives from the basis "suklob" because of this "to hook" or "to attach," representing the motion of fastening those substances to supply shiny and attractive decorations.

The Singkaban Festival is an Art and Cultural event honoring Our Lady of Victory in Malolos, Bulacan. The origins of the Singkaban Festival, also called the "Sining at Kalinangan ng Bulacan" (Art and Culture of Bulacan), can be traced back to the time before colonization, when the local Tagalog people lived there. Singkaban are beautifully crafted entrance arches utilized in Bulacan during fiestas and other significant occasions. Bamboo mainly makes up Singkaban, and the best places to see examples of this craft are the ancient towns of Hagonoy and Malolos. The Singkaban Festival was formally inaugurated in 1993 to commemorate the province of Bulacan's founding anniversary. Its goals were to deepen understanding of the province's art, history, and customs while promoting and protecting its rich cultural legacy. The biggest and longest event held in Bulacan is the Singkaban event.

The "baro" is the blouse, plus the "saya" is the skirt, and collectively they make up the traditional Filipino attire known as "Baro't Saya." Objects like this could be visible in the traditional apparel of Filipino women. The Baro't Saya may be retraced to pre-colonial eras before the Spanish colonists arrived in the Philippines. It needs clarification regarding the precise designer or creator of the baro't-saya, which developed at some point as an element of Filipino records and way of life. It represents the country's prolonged records and skillful legacy. To begin with, the final results of the Philippines' widespread cultural past, baro't saya, a traditional Filipino clothing, has yet to be identified as the originator.

For this reason, the baro't saya is manufactured from the Philippines' wealth culture, incorporating impacts from indigenous customs and Spanish colonial history. The baro't saya fashion first advanced in the course of pre-colonial instances, while several indigenous populations at some point in the Philippines maintained their specific dress designs. Early trade with nearby countries, further to the presence of Spanish immigrants in the sixteenth century, affected the evolution of Filipino garb. A person or group with half of a symphony, creativity, and a passion for music is called a musician. They also possess a unique talent for transforming their thoughts and emotions into melodies using an instrument. People can see and hear musicians anywhere in the world. They can be found in fiesta, birthdays, weddings, and shows. Moreover, here in Malolos, many talented musicians and bands have formed.

One of the most highly esteemed musicians you can encounter in the charming town of Malolos is can be found or also known as "PHACTO Bulacan." This office isn't just about music; they are a community of treasures, a living spirit of arts and culture that thrives in our hometown. The " PHACTO " office has a meaningful background name, the 'Provincial, History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office' that started on January 01, 2015. Under this is the official provincial band named Hiyas ng Bulacan.

The Hiyas ng Bulacan Provincial Band was created on a memorable day, August 15, 1983. This talented band comprises members from different towns and cities across Bulacan. What's truly shocking and exciting about this band of musicians is that most of them are volunteers. They come together for financial gain and because of their love and passion for playing music. They are currently under the administration of Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Governor Alex Castro. The Hiyas ng Bulacan Provincial Band comprises forty-three (43) members, led by Dr. Eliseo S. Dela Cruz of the PHACTO. They are also in a partnership under the leadership of Band Master Virgilio Andan and Musical Director Maestro Felicito Sacdalan. By this, Hiyas ng Bulacan made a community of talented musicians; not only that, but they also made history back then.

==<h3>Legacy</h3>==
In 1983, they organized a music competition called 'BULARICA,' which involved Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite participants. For the first time, the area of Bulacan secured victory as champions in the BULARICA competition. The legacy of Hiyas ng Bulacan continues, and their journey is far from over. Their music remains a masterpiece of art that keeps on inspiring, entertaining, and making history. Malolos is not just their home: it is also the canvas on which their musical excellence starts, shines, and keeps reminding us of the beauty and power of local arts and culture.

Ang kapistahan naman ng Parokya ay tuwing ika-15 ng Mayo. Dito rin isinasagawa ang kilalang '''“Palayan Festival”''' kung saan binibigyang parangal ang pagiging magsasaka ni San Isidro Labrador.

Ito ay nagmula sa Bulihan, Malolos, Bulacan, mula sa pawis at kawayan, unti-unting umunlad ang buhay pananampalataya ng mga Bulihanon sa mapaghimalang Santo. Ang bisita ay itinirik sa lupang donasyon ni G. Julian de Robles at kalaunan ay naging bato. Noon, ito ay nasa ilalim ng pagpapastol ng Parokya ng Nuestra Señora del Carmen ng Barasoain. Ang bisita ay naging lunan ng mga gawaing may kaugnay sa pananampalataya tulad ng banal na misa, mga prusiyon at pabasa sa Mahal na Araw. Minsan ding nagsilbi ang Santa Bisita bilang Paaralan.

Sa paglipas ng panahon kung saan kinaharap ng mga mamamayan ang lalong pag-unlad at pag-usbong ng makabagong sibilisasyon, taong 1998 ay naitatag ang Parokya ng Espiritu Santo sa Alido Heights, Bulihan at ang Bisita ni San Isidro Labrador ay nailipat sa pagkandili nito. Nagpatuloy ang masaganang buhay pananampalataya ng mga taga-Bulihan hanggang sa dumating ang panahon nang imungkahi ng dating Kura Paroko, Rdo. Padre Jose Miguel D.S. Paez na ang Bisita ni San Isidro ay maging isang ganap na parokya. Kaya naman, noong taong 2003, ang dating bisita ay naging isang ''Mala-Parokya'' (Quasi-Parish) at itinalaga si Rdo. Padre Jose Cezan “Dennis” S. Pascual bilang Priest-in-Charge.

Dito ay nabuo ang Parish Pastoral Council, ilang mga samahan at pagkakaroon ng mga regular na Banal na Misa at mga sakramento. Matapos ang tatlong taon, noong ika-2 ng Disyembre 2006, itinaas na ang antas ng San Isidro Labrador Quasi-Parish sa pagiging Parokya, at itinalaga si Rev. Fr. Dennis Pascual bilang kauna-unahang Kura Paroko ng Bulihan. Nasasakop naman ng Parokya ang Barangay ng Longos, mga Sitio ng Bliss at Malanggam, at mga subdivision ng Dreamcrest at Mac Arthur Village.

Padre Jose Cezan “Dennis” S. Pascual bilang Priest-in-Charge.

Dito ay nabuo ang Parish Pastoral Council, ilang mga samahan at pagkakaroon ng mga regular na Banal na Misa at mga sakramento. Si Apolinario “Ka Inar” Paraiso Bulaong ay ipinanganak sa Malolos, Bulacan, Pilipinas. Isang anak nina Clemente Enriquez Bulaong at Apolonia Bautista Paraiso. Namatay siya noong 13 ng Marso 2013, sa kanyang bayan.

===<h3>Early Life</h3>===

Siya ay naging estudyante ni Guillermo Tolentino, sa U.P. School of Fine Arts. Isang kontemporaryo ni Napoleon Abueva, si Bulaong ay nakisali sa parehong klasikal at modernistang mga istilo ng iskultura. Gayunpaman, itinuon ni Bulaong ang kanyang pagsisikap sa paglikha ng mga monumento para sa kanyang lalawigan ng Bulacan; gaya ng sculptural mural ng Pulang Lupa at equestrian sculpture ni Gregorio del Pilar sa Bulacan.

Makikita sa AFP Museum ang gawa ni Ka Inar na itinatawag na “The Filipino Quest for Freedom and Security.” Sa kaliwang bahagi ng sining ay makikita ang mga kilalang bayani ng Pilipinas: Lapu-Lapu, Diego Silang, Gabriela Silang, GOMBURZA, Jose Rizal, Andres Bonifacio, Emilio Jacinto, Melchora Aquino at Emilio Aguinaldo. Sa kanang bahagi ng sining ay isang imahe ng Inang Bayan, habang ang buong eskultura ay hinahati ng puno ng niyog na kumakatawan sa Puno ng Buhay. Ang Barasoain Church ng Malolos, Bulacan ang makikita sa likod ng Inang Bayan.

sang sining na gawa ni Apolinario Bulaong upang parangalan ang unang babaeng rebolusyonaryo na si María Josefa Gabriela Cariño Silang (1731-1763). Si Maria Josefa Gabriela, kilala rin bilang Gabriela Silang ay ipinanganak noong Marso 19, 1731 sa Caniogan, Santa, Ilocos Sur. Siya ay ikinasal kay Don Tomas Millan isang mayaman at kilalang negosyante sa Ilocos. Di-nagtagal, pagkatapos ng kanilang kasal, namatay si Millan sa katandaan. Nakilala ni Gabriela si Diego Silang, isang taong may mahusay na katalinuhan, tapang at determinasyon na naniwala at lumaban tungo sa kalayaan ng sambayanang Pilipino. Ang dalawa ay ikinasal noong 1757 at noong 1762, sumama siya sa pag-aalsa laban sa mga Espanyol kasama si Diego. Matapos paslangin ang kanyang asawa noong Mayo 28, 1763 sa utos ng mga awtoridad ng Espanya. Ipinagpatuloy ni Gabriela ang pag-aalsa at pinamunuan ang mga tagasunod ng kanyang asawa sa ilang mga matagumpay na engkwentro laban sa mga Espanyol sa Santa at Vigan. Gayunpaman, siya at ang kanyang mga kasama ay nahuli sa Abra noong Setyembre 29, 1763 at pagkatapos ay binitay sa plasa ng Vigan, kung saan si Gabriela ang huling namatay.

Makikita ang eskultura ang iba't ibang tauhan mula sa 1838 epikong tula ng "Florante at Laura", na isinulat ni Francisco Baltazar (ipinanganak na Francisco Balagtas y de la Cruz; 1788-1862)

Nililok ni Apolinario Bulaong, ang likhang sining ay nagtatampok ng iba't ibang mga eksena ng epiko, kung saan ang pambungad na gawa ni Duke Florante ng Albania ay nakatali sa isang puno at binantayan ng dalawang leon, na ginawa ng pagtataksil ni Konde Adolfo. Ang susunod na hanay ng mga tauhan ay pinapakita si Konde Adolfo na sinusubukang ligawan ang minamahal ni Florante, si Prinsesa Laura. Ang huling bahagi ng sculpture ay isang life-sized na larawan ng may-akda mismo, si Francisco Balagtas

Ang Florante at Laura ay isang klasikong pampanitikan ng Pilipinas, na itinuturing na mahalagang bahagi ng karanasang Pilipino. Ito ay pinag-aaralan sa high school curriculum, kung saan ang mga talakayan sa klase ay kadalasang humahantong sa mas malikhaing gawain tulad ng mga pagsasadula o paglikha ng mga story book. Naging paksa din ito ng mga theatrical productions, mga espesyal sa telebisyon at mga pelikula. Kaya't ang kanyang kamangha-manghang mga karakter at tagpuan ay itinuring na simboliko, at ang Florante at Laura ay isang nakakapukaw na piraso ng pagkamakabayan—isang paglalarawan ng mga paghihirap ng mamamayang Pilipino sa ilalim ng mapang-aping kolonyal na rehimeng Espanyol.

Sa gitna ng 4, 027 square meter site ay ang monumento ni Marcelo H. del Pilar, na ginawa ng lokal na iskultor na si Apolinario Bulaong. Gawa sa semento na hinaluan ng dinurog na tanso, ang estatwa ay may taas na 10 talampakan at sa ilalim nito ay nakalatag ang mga labi ng bayani mismo, na inilatag sa kanyang huling pahingahan noong 1984.

Sa ilalim ng kanyang bantayog ay nakahimlay ang mga labi ni Plaridel na siyang inilipat mula sa Mausoleo de los Veteranos (Manila North Cemetery) noong 1984. Sa pagkakalipat ng kanyang mga labi, idineklara ang lugar na ito bilang Dambanang Marcelo H. Del Pilar.

Ang rebulto ni Goyo na nakasakay sa kabayo ay nililok ni Apolinario Bulaong. Ang Pamahalaang Bayan ay nag-iwan ng isang Panandang Pangkasaysayan kung saan mababasa ang kasaysayan ng kabayanihan ni Goyo sa Pasong Tirad.   

Si Gregorio del Pilar ay kilala bilang “Hero of Tirad Pass". Sa makasaysayang lugar na ito, nilabanan at pinigilan ng batang heneral ang malalakas na sumasalakay na mga Amerikano na may kakaunting tauhan lamang, kaya't nabigyan si Aguinaldo ng sapat na panahon upang makatakas sa mga mananakop. Sa kabila ng kakaunting sundalong kasama, si Gregorio del Pilar ay lumaban nang buong tapang. At binayaran niya ang kabayanihang ito ng kanyang buhay. Siya ay binaril at napatay sa araw na iyon-Disyembre 2, 1899.

Ang Battle sa Pulang Lupa Marker ay itinayo bilang pag-alaala sa mga rebolusyonaryong pwersa ng Marinduque na lumaban sa mga Amerikano. Isang marker ang nakatayo sa lugar ng pinakamadugong labanan na naganap sa isla, ang unang kilalang malaking labanan na napanalunan ng mga Pilipino laban sa mga Amerikano.

Ang landmark na mural ng Pulang Lupa ay nilikha at nakonsepto ni Apolinario Bulaong ng Bulacan sa tulong ng mga mananaliksik mula sa National Historical Institute. Binubuo ang mural ng animnapung kongkretong bloke na pinagsama-sama, na naghahatid ng mga larawan ng madugong labanan na tila may pampulitikang pananaw.

Ang site na ito ay matatagpuan sa gilid ng bundok na hangganan ng mga barangay Bolo at Poctoy. Makikita ang nakamamanghang tanawin ng Bondoc peninsula, Polo, Mongpong Islands at Salomague Island sa kaliwa, pati na rin ang mga mangrove forest sa hilagang-silangan na bahagi ng Marinduque mainland.

San Isidro Labrador, ang pagdiriwang na ito ay binubuo ng mga mananayaw na nag rerepresinta ng historya ng Palayan Festival kaya’t ating kilalanin ang parokya ni San Isidro Labrador. Ang kapistahan naman ng Parokya ay tuwing ika-15 ng Mayo. Dito rin isinasagawa ang kilalang “Palayan Festival” kung saan binibigyang parangal ang pagiging magsasaka ni San Isidro Labrador.

Ito ay nag mula sa Bulihan, Malolos, Bulacan, mula sa pawis at kawayan, unti-unting umunlad ang buhay pananampalataya ng mga Bulihanon sa mapaghimalang Santo. Ang bisita ay itinirik sa lupang donasyon ni G. Julian de Robles at kalaunan ay naging bato. Noon, ito ay nasa ilalim ng pagpapastol ng Parokya ng Nuestra Senora del Carmen ng Barasoain. Ang bisita ay naging lunan ng mga gawaing may kaugnay sa pananampalataya tulad ng Banal na Misa, mga prusiyon at pabasa sa Mahal na Araw. Minsan ding nagsilbi ang Santa Bisita bilang Paaralan.

Sa paglipas ng panahon kung saan kinaharap ng mga mamamayan ang lalong pag-unlad at pag-usbong ng makabagong sibilisasyon, taong 1998 ay naitatag ang Parokya ng Espiritu Santo sa Alido Heights, Bulihan at ang Bisita ni San Isidro Labrador ay nailipat sa pagkandili nito. Nagpatuloy ang masaganang buhay pananampalataya ng mga taga-Bulihan hanggang sa dumating ang panahon nang imungkahi ng dating Kura Paroko, Rdo. Padre Jose Miguel D.S. Paez na ang Bisita ni San Isidro ay maging isang ganap na parokya. Kaya naman, noong taong 2003, ang dating bisita ay naging isang ''Mala-Parokya'' (Quasi-Parish) at itinalaga si Rdo. Padre Jose Cezan “Dennis” S. Pascual bilang Priest-in-Charge.

Dito ay nabuo ang Parish Pastoral Council, ilang mga samahan at pagkakaroon ng mga regular na Banal na Misa at mga sakramento. Matapos ang tatlong taon, noong ika-2 ng Disyembre 2006, itinaas na ang antas ng San Isidro Labrador Quasi-Parish sa pagiging Parokya, at itinalaga si Rev. Fr. Dennis Pascual bilang kauna-unahang Kura Paroko ng Bulihan. Nasasakop naman ng Parokya ang Barangay ng Longos, mga Sitio ng Bliss at Malanggam, at mga subdivision ng Dreamcrest at Mac Arthur Village.
