The SPMPC website states that it envisions itself to be a cooperative that is progressive and responsive to the needs of its members and the community. It is a cooperative that started from the dreams of local farmers which pushed this organization to be established to address their need for sufficient supply for their farming and everyday needs.
Date of Registration, 1992
With the initiative of Mr. Narciso C. Bulaong, Sr., the helping hands of 20 fellow farmers, and the assistance of Mrs. Erlinda Alejo of the Municipal Agriculture Office, and Mr. Aguinaldo Vizconde of PAIDO, it was registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) on February 19, 1992 together with an initial Share Capital of Php 11,000.00 according to its website.
Notable Achievements, 1992-2023
Through the organization’s trials and difficulties, their inspiration to start this cooperative continues to push this organization on its mission of addressing the necessities of farmers and uplifting their families’ lives, with which it continues to grow. As seen on its website, it has collected several outstanding and highly acclaimed awards. Such as:
