Pook ng Gobierno Militar de la Plaza, or simply the Military Government of the Plaza, stands as a tangible landmark in Malolos' history. It is a place where the barracks of General Isidro Toress were located when the revolutionary government and the first Republic of the Philippines were established until the Philippine-American War in the years 1898–1899.

It was Ygnacio Pulumbarit-Adriano and Gregoria Vasquez's ancestral house. Doña Gregoria Adriano, who was the one in charge of taking care of their ancestral house, was born in 1878 in Madrid, Spain. Her father, Felipe Vasquez, was 21, and her mother, Maria De La Cruz, was 19. Ignacio Polombarit Adriano was born on February 1, 1868, in Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines. His father, Juan Adriano, was 21, and his mother, Gregoria Polumbarit, was 11. They were married in 1894. They built the house in 1916. Years after the Philippine-American War ended.

Acquired by the Lopez family in 1995. It is recognized nowadays as the Meralco Malolos, organized and constructed on May 21, 1997. It was marked by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines on January 28, 2008. They also have a memorial every year to honor the foundation of the plaza and other landmarks in Malolos on September 14, 2014, as part of the celebration of the 116th year of the opening of the Congress of Malolos on September 15, 1898.

Due to its being refurnished to its original look, it was used as a new building. The Gobierno Militar de la Plaza witnessed various events in our history. It is more than just a historical landmark; it serves as a live example of the Malolenios' resilient character and the Filipino people's unwavering commitment to independence. It is a location where the ghosts of the past coexist with the aspirations of people working toward a better future.
