The sweet and thick delicacy, that is favourite by many Filipinos. It's commonly partnered with hot and strong Kapeng Barako.

We can't really deny that Maloleños are creative when it comes to cooking, and one of the dishes we can present is Rice Cake or also known as Bibibgkang may Mukha.

This Malolos delicacy only consists of six (6) ingredients. Such as:

  • coconut milk
  • glutinous rice
  • brown sugar
  • white sugar
  • salt
  • water

These are the most common ingredients that we can find in the said delicacy. Bibingkang may Mukha is similar to the delicacy called 'Biko,' but what makes it really special is actually the Latik above it. Making latik is just very easy. All you need to prepare are:

  • coconut cream
  • brown sugar and
  • salt

Once done preparing the ingredients, put it in the oven made in charcoal, and wait until it's ready to serve.

Bibingkang Kanin usually can be found at the table if there's a small gathering. But mostly can be found in the table of some Maloleños during Christmas and New Year. Look 1st is one of the place here in Malolos where they make the given delicacy.
