Del Pilarian Debate Society
The Society was founded to provide a venue for students to exercise their right to free speech and expression in public, to debate a range of topics at the local, state, federal, and worldwide levels, and to further their education in order to become more engaged and effective members of society. (Almoguez, 2023)
History
It was formally recognized by the Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School on November 18, 2014. It was started to give students a way to practice their freedom of expression openly, to tackle a variety of issues around the globe, and to expand their knowledge as citizens. There's art in this beautiful sport. Arguing on things that are relevant to our society could bring up awareness and empowerment.
"We the students of Marcelo H. del Pilar National High School, in order to establish an organization where students can share their freedom of speech and expression in an open forum" is a quote taken from the Del Pilarian Debate Society preamble.
For many years, the Marcelo H. The Bulacan High School Debate Championship, which is held annually, is one of the competitions in which del Pilar National High School, as represented by the Society, has triumphed. Whereas the DelPiDS (Del Pilarian Debate Society) has consistently outperformed our province's best schools in competition.

To achieve its objectives of changing people's perspectives and forming young people into self-assured orators and progressive thinkers, the Del Pilarian Debate Society has arranged several activities and events.

- IntraCelo has been the largest and most distinguished event hosted by the Del Pilarian Debate Society. The society intends to make every effort to present the best debate tournament the group has ever handled in its fourth year.
